Advanced Notifications Configuration

To access the advanced notifications, navigate to the 'Advanced' tab.

The system provides six configurable notification types:

  1. Notification for New High/Critical Severity Vulnerability in Workspace: This notification is triggered when a new high or critical severity vulnerability is detected in the workspace.

  2. Notification for Vulnerability with Risk Score Greater Than Specified Value: This notification is triggered when a vulnerability with a risk score greater than a specified threshold is detected.

  3. Notification for Critical Severity Open Vulnerability in Workspace for More Than Specified Days: This notification is triggered when a critical severity vulnerability remains open in the workspace for more than a specified number of days.

  4. Notification for High Severity Open Vulnerability in Workspace for More Than Specified Days: This notification is triggered when a high severity vulnerability remains open in the workspace for more than a specified number of days.

  5. Notification for Medium Severity Open Vulnerability in Workspace for More Than Specified Days: This notification is triggered when a medium severity vulnerability remains open in the workspace for more than a specified number of days.

  6. Notification for Low Severity Open Vulnerability in Workspace for More Than Specified Days: This notification is triggered when a low severity vulnerability remains open in the workspace for more than a specified number of days.

How to Configure Advanced Notifications

  1. Enable the desired notification type: Toggle the switch to enable the notification type.
  2. Set the threshold value: Enter the threshold value for the notification type. For example, if you want to receive a notification when a vulnerability with a risk score greater than 7 is detected, set the threshold value to 7.
  3. Set where to send the notification: Choose the notification channel where you want to receive the notification. You can select from the following options:
  4. In-App: Receive the notification in the Faraday platform.
  5. Email: Receive the notification via email.
  6. Slack: Receive the notification on your Slack workspace. For guidance on setting up Slack notifications, please consult the Slack Integration Section of our documentation.

Please note that the notifications checking for the number of days a vulnerability has been open are executed daily at 2 AM GMT.
